F.W. Marsh is a "go to" supplier; our flexibility means that we can offer a scale of support tailored to our customers' needs, from small field service teams through to complete project management. We are proud to be on GE's approved supplier list for Aero Energy, Oil & Gas and Environmental Services. Many of our multi-skilled technicians are offshore trained and can travel to any part of the globe. Amongst our office-based personnel we have a team of experienced travel advisers who can take care of all (or any part) of the mobilisation process, including any visa arrangements that may be required.

Servicing and Preventative Maintenance

F.W. Marsh currently operates a worldwide field technician service providing customers with a high degree of technical knowledge and experience. This invaluable service presents customers with the option of using F.W. Marsh technicians to examine areas in and around their engines, and replace/repair any components found to be worn or defective. In addition, our technicians can provide useful advice on future working practices of the engine. The main benefits of this service are to reduce downtime due to major repairs, prolong overall life of the engine, and generally provide a more cost efficient method of managing engine usage.

Repairs

One of the services provided by F.W. Marsh, which our customers have found to be invaluable, is the availability of our skilled turbine technicians as a rapid response unit to cover emergency situations. Our team of technicians is able to travel worldwide at short notice providing our customers with the express service required to reduce costly downtime to their engines.

Inspection and Fault Finding

At F.W. Marsh we have N.D.T technicians qualified to ASNT - Level 3, who are able to carry out Eddy Current, Ultrasound, and F.P.I inspections. These services provide our customers with technicians and equipment able to detect surface or near-surface flaws, measure wall thickness and detect deep flaws, identify corrosion levels, examine the integrity of welds, inspect turbine blades for fatigue, plus use of various custom techniques for more uncommon faults and inspections.
